Win a Snowmobile

September 29, 2008 by

Everybody likes something for nothing and the prospect of winning a brand spanking new snowmobile should be high on the list of those with a passion for the outdoors.

The competition forms part of the Take a Friend Snowmobiling Week which runs over 9 days (go figure).  The 2009 "week" takes place from Feb 14-22.  As the name implies regular sled riders are being encourage to take a snowmobiling virgin on to the slopes for a day of fast packed fun and action.

The purpose? To introduce them to a wonderful recreational activity and to give them the opportunity to discover if this is something they'd like to enjoy a little more frequently.  Heck, if you win the competition you can give them your old sled and you'll have a friend for life.

Are you a member of a club?  Get your club and local community involved.  The fact is that many would be snowmobilers are put off because they know very little about the sport and find it a bit intimidating.  They don't know where the trails are, who builds and maintains them or what help is available.  Apart from anything else it's a great excuse to make a long week out of this superb activity.

Okay, so all you really want to know is how to win the sled right?  Well, that's what we've been telling you the information above for.  At the beginning of December all you need to do is visit the Go Snowmobiling website, complete the registration form for "Take a Friend Snowmobiling Week" and you and your friend will be entered into the draw.

Unfortunately there can only be one winner so if it's you let me know.  If not, pick up a used sled from our used snowmobile store.
